Anton de Kom University of Suriname (AdeKUS) has a full-time vacancy for an Electrical Engineering Technician at the Facilities Management department in Paramaribo. Your goal is to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems within AdeKUS, working closely with the technical staff of Construction and Maintenance. Your duties include installing lighting, sockets, switches and other electrical equipment according to technical specifications and drawings. You will also carry out maintenance on electrical installations and promptly identify faults to prevent downtime. The ideal candidate has a technical qualification in electrical engineering, is precise and safety-conscious, and has good communication skills in Dutch. Experience with installation and maintenance work within a large-scale organisation is an advantage.
