The Anton de Kom University of Suriname (AdeKUS) is seeking an enthusiastic lecturer for the Faculty of Humanities, specifically for the Bachelor's programme in History. In this part-time position, you will teach within the Minor in History, Heritage and Tourism (GET), focusing on Tourism Management and Tour Planning & Guiding. You will contribute to the academic development of bachelor students by preparing and delivering lectures, guiding students, and assessing their progress. Collaboration with fellow lecturers and further development of the minor are key aspects of this role. We are looking for a candidate with a relevant completed degree and proven experience in the tourism sector. Didactic skills and affinity with the Surinamese context are considered strong advantages. A passion for teaching and inspiring young academics is essential.
