Staatsolie Maatschappij Suriname N.V. is seeking an experienced Head Environmental & Quality for its location in Wanica. In this full-time leadership role within the oil and gas sector, you will be responsible for the organisation's environmental policy and quality management. You will develop and implement policy in the areas of environment, safety, and quality, lead a team of specialists, and ensure compliance with statutory norms and international standards. You will also act as the point of contact for audits, permits, and external bodies, and report directly to management. We are looking for a candidate with an academic background in environmental science, engineering, or a related field, complemented by extensive experience in a leadership role. You have strong communication skills, a strategic outlook, and an excellent command of Dutch.
