Anton de Kom University of Suriname (AdeKUS) is looking for a full-time Accounting Officer for the Finance department at the University Office in Paramaribo. As an accounting officer, you are responsible for carrying out various administrative tasks to ensure the timely and accurate processing and recording of the University's financial data. You maintain the financial administration and ensure accurate registration of income and expenses. You support monthly and annual closings and contribute to correct and transparent financial reporting. The ideal candidate has a completed qualification in accounting or financial administration, is precise, and has good knowledge of accounting software. Experience in a similar role within a larger organisation is an advantage.
